Info on Art Show and Focus on the Arts Contest

Parents,
There has been some confusion with the Art Show and Dinner vs. the Focus on the Arts Contest. These are two seperate events.

  • For the Art Show and Dinner Every student is participating. They have produced an art piece using Technology in class. These will be displayed in the classrooms on Nov. 17th along with the Dinner. Parents and other family members are invited to come see what everyone has created. There will be a winner from each class whose are will be auctioned that night too. Tickets for the Dinner are on sale before and after school tomorrow and Friday only. They are $6.00 per person.
  • The Focus on the Arts Contest is an individual contest to be done at home much like a Reflections or Inspirations Contest. These will be displayed only at the Art Show and they are due this Friday Nov. 12th. Winners will be announced early in December at an assembly and parents will be notified if their child wins so they can attend the assembly.
We are sorry for the confusion and hope to remedy this next year with different timing and different names.
